Judith Tutin (Doyle) grew up in Wexford, Ireland. She studied Botany and Zoology at UCD before switching to a BA in Art Education at the National College of Art and Design, (NCAD) Dublin.
Under the tuition of Dr Tom McGuirk she developed her artistic style from highly rendered and scientific drawings, to abstract colourful paintings. After a sell-out graduation show in 2003, she moved to London to continue painting and embark on a career as an art teacher in East London for 7 years. During this time she completed an MA in Art Education at the Institute of Education, where she concentrated on aspects of Catholic spirituality in art and in education. She also worked at Euroart studios in East London and undertook several painting commissions.
Judith moved to Cornwall in 2010. She worked and exhibited at Krowji Studios, Redruth until 2012 and is now Head of Art at Truro High School for Girls.
Judith continues to combine her interests in spiritual art, science and abstraction through her cyanotype process and her layered abstract oil paintings.
